Rockin away to Glory.

The most common Question i get these days is - What the hell ver ya thinking ven u joined a Rock band after completing Engineering????? Even i wondered before. Well i told 'em all n i tell u now so too that i joined because i just wanna LIVE my life....not just sit in front of the damn computer sitting and writing some Codes and codes and codes ONLY.
Dont u think u need to have a life other than just ur professional one ( ok i dont have a professional one yet...well thtz coz of other reasons......a few of vich u'll get by reading my other posts :-) )
I always was a guy inclined towards music more than anything else. Thats y ven the opportunity came knocking @ my doors in ma engg. college to sing for a Rock band.....i took it up as a challenge....mind u...till then the only songs i sang ver lotsa english Pop songs, Film songs and Yes, LOTSA Bhajans....ya u heard that right. As a matter of fact i still can sing 'em. Lollzzz.
Screaming or throating was a total new concept to me. I listen to a hell lotta metal but didnt think that i wud hafta sing like 'em ever !!
Hmmmm so how did it all begin? My college band guyz got another singer n asked him to sing a heavy line by Metallica from de song For whom the Bell tolls.
The line sez - " Take a look to the sky just before u die, its the last time u will ". He couldnt do it...meanwhile i was just tryin to do it on de side n they happened to hear and like it. So that day on i became De' Vocalizt and i remember that 1st line all too well. Doesn't it sound like a message? I dunno i felt like that's how m spos to live my life - Experience woteva u want to b4 u die as u cant do that once u r gone.
So here i am typing the Rock side of my story.
Then how did i become the singer of Souled Out. Well thanks to engineering again. here i was writing my exam and i thought to myself - ' Man i keep meeting the same people in bangalore again and again. I have never ever seen the Rock scene in bangalore for this long inspite of wanting to see it more than any dumb chik or mall. So i thought i'll just post an ad on the Freedom Jam website - a place ver Bangalore bands meet. Wot the heck i am not gonna lose anything right? ' ( must add that - chix come to the Jams too so can just mayb say 2-with-a-single-bullet or Bingo;-) Lollz just jokin. i gotta a galfrend of 3 years now. if i dont add this line, u may b reading the blog of a Dead man)
So thats what i did n believe you me i got called by around 7 bands. But i checked out only 2 of them for various reasons. Then my current band guyz inspite of their ages seemed to have the best original composition and they wanted to play the kinda metal i wanted to sing to. So i just started jamming with them and lemme tell ya till date i dont regret my decision. I m loving each moment of these creative sessions. The only hurdle i faced was i had to WRITE LYRICS for the songs and i have never done that before. The audience also luckily, thank god, love us.

For more details on the band and audience responses u can please chek out the Official Website of the band - http://www.souledout.co.nr

The personality we exist as and the personality we truly are.

We truly are more disconnected from ourselves. Ourself being the state we get to, when calm and, introspective you become, of you and the world, through daily good focussed meditation to be able to disconnect from your existential self. You are not the crazy, antic-driven you, that normally exists. You are the one always drowning in the beauty of the moment and seeing how we all are programmed to be a certain way/act/exist in society. The existential you is the guy sitting by himself in the studio, when being in his boring natural existence. We all put on our own masks, some complex and layered. The closer you are to a person, the lesser the masks+layers. Hence, you know very clearly how close you are to each friend in your life. One never truly knows oneself. People always say the previous statement, not realizing that to truly find oneself is the point of spiritual guidance. It is truly finding oneself that is Liberation aka Moksha. Hence, meditation and all spiritual practices te...
