Mom celebrates Silver Jubilee

Mom today celebrates the Silver Jubilee of her Best Creation yet, A certain someone known as Sistah is gonna disagree outright, because that creation happens to be Me! *ahem*. Celebrated in the true spirit of a Saggitarian, indulging in total unexplored adventure. Freaks me out though that I'm 25 & all. The idea of Creeping closer to an age when society deems a man to act like one, with digols of -- "Time to settle down, be responsible, get married" & the usual freaky Blah! is the only bitter part of turning 25. Not that my people have talked such. OK its just a lil' paranoid me blabberin'. Otherwise I don't feel a damn difference. Still the same Ol' crazy lil' boy. Yeah the page on the blog finally turns to 25 now! 24 was a Full-packed movie. Cheers to me for many more fun filled years! Page 25

Bluffmaster-ed

The biggest flawless Hoax was pulled off perfectly. Realized yesterday how fuckin' gullible I was! Well one learns from mistakes & I liked quickies anyway ;) So nomore Dumbfuck tees for me. Details when I'm jobless & in the mood to write. Page 24

What this Man wants.

"What Women Want?" A big question asked innumerable times. People have been/will be lost trying to find an answer to this one. So much so they've forgotten to ask "What Men Want?" I think most people out there think all that men want is Sex. Well there are many who just want that but I consider myself to be a man who knows exactly what he wants apart from sex. I don't just settle for any. Ahem OK I don't deny I want a lot of make out too (Preferably experimental & risky ;) .. Err... moving on before this turns out to be a porn post), but I'm not a teenage "rabbit" boy either. Well there are a lot of things I 'want' but here I talk about what I want from a woman I wanna grow old with (Digol alert!) Its just few things: 1. Honesty. 2. Free Spirited. 3. Sense of Humour. 4. A Good Communicator. I think that's quite a decent requirement, though from experience, I feel its a tad difficult to find this var...

Blahed Thoughts, The Fifth

This is an update of behind-the-scenes-action between last post & today. I'm a sucker for fun & happy anecdotes. It was Ujwal's Post-Gruhapravesham, Satyanarayana pooja on 15th June. He has made a nice beautiful house. All of us friends gifted him an Onkyo Home Theater, so that we can gate crash anytime in the near future to watch philummss for free! :D .. With the rising movie ticket prices I think we guys have made a sound investment. Lol. On 28th June, my dad & his pals way back from the 1972 batch of Government College of Technology, Coimbatore a.k.a GCT had their reunion in Puttaparthi. It was really cool, for them and also us , to see all friends meet after many years. My dad was meeting them after almost 32 years! So the whole fam went to Parthi. The reunion was nice with a special awesome speech by Prof.Anil Kumar sir. I had nice Swami's darshan. Swami was trying to sing & it hurt to see him struggle. I prayed he cure himself ! :( I've m...

The Happening indeed Is.

The story of seeing this story is crazy. So Me & Sis decide to go for the Movie "Sex and the City" at PVR. She had bought the tickets in advance directly from the counter for 'em for the 10PM show. I didn't know the Europa Cinema Halls function as correctly as the ones in Innovative Multiplex! Firstly, They had the Right Movies labelled at the Right theatre halls (I hope you are getting the sarcasm here) Secondly, A 10:00PM movie begins at 10:30PM. I think even PVR now operates on this unsaid time phenomenon called "Bangalore Time"... meaning when a True blue Bangalorean tells you "Hey dude lets meet up at 5 PM", it usually means you add 30 - 60 mins to it, if you are sensible. BT = AM/PM + (30/60) Mins. And Thirdly, we find out that we were in the wrong theatre (Thanks to Clear Labeling. There were people running between halls once the movie began!) and wait it doesn't end here. We run to the right theatre finally and then we a...

Songs I Love, The Second

Never before did I listen to Opera for more than 5 seconds. Then I came upon a video on Youtube of a show called Britain's Got Talent. A totally paavam, low on self confidence, insecure guy who was always bullied around walks in for the audition, called Paul Potts, a Mobile phone salesman. The judges ask him what he's come to perform, he says "To Sing Opera" and I too was like "What the fuck??". He stands still for a while to gain some confidence. The mesmerizing music of Nessun Dorma begins & we are like "Ok here comes...". And then.. He begins singing & you are like "WHAT !!! Is That really the voice of a Mobile Phone Salesman?!" .. Amazing is the word. I'm not even a fan of Opera. I actually hated it till this guy came around. But the way this guy sang with all his heart & feeling in his voice just left me awestruck. I actually played that video over & over again & very few songs move me to tears. This definitel...

Blahed Thoughts, The Fourth

Women with a just-outta-the-shower look have this incredible bang-boom-dishhh-where-did-this-babe-come-from effect on me. I think that look is the single most visually appealing turn on for me. They look so beautiful, more than their dry-haired-selves. That's like Pure Bonus heaven, personally is all. lol. Whenever I scan galleries of cute women anywhere on the world wide web, like a creep, haha, my fingers have to stop clicking next as soon as I see such pics. Sighhhhhh! Guess the secret to my heart ain't through the old route of the Tum, its through sending me pics of yourselves with wet- head -hair ( This is a Note to women who contact me. Ahem .) Every single time, I flip. Shit man, this is a giveaway. But who cares, I love sex as it too is a path to bliss for us human beings, the other folks of earth too. So bring it on baby ;) Page 24

Blahed Thoughts, The Third

Peoples' reaction to my letter-post was quite a trip! My sis thought it made me look needy & emotional & she found it like an eye opener cuz I'm the opposite of that, Live. She thinks the toughness is a facade. I disagree. I've the reason. My friend Arjun thought I had the Hots for the woman. Emotional, I can agree with cuz yes I do get involved emotionally with my closest pals only. Its almost like their problems are mine too. Weird shit, I tell you. Typical Saggitarian. Totally detached from most things in life including family, except friends. We are there all the time to help and man, has that turned out to be a fuckin' pain! but Needy! that definitely is not what it was. And I'm not in denial. I accept it if its the truth. Is it wrong to have expectations? Like my friend Ujwal said, even a Friendship is a relationship and it should be equal. Give & take is the game baby. Its not a charity service. I also didn't have no "Louu" feelings...

Blahed Thoughts, The Second

Question of the day, OK for me atleast, is, Am I a sentimental Ol' fool? 1 of the babes called me out of the blue yesterday! I actually couldn't recognize who it was. C'mon, I wasn't being a snob. Its after a long time we were speaking and obviously I did not expect her to call me at 9:57 PM in the night on any day ever (Now before u think m sm freak of nature, cuz I'm a man who remembers time, I checked my received call list now, alright!) . I was trying to comprehend who it was till she said her location. There was a moment of Silence, and then... She told me her wedding was fixed and said "Today only we fixed the date & I'm calling all my close friends first & informing" .. In my head, I was like "Whaa.. wha did I just hear?.. whaa". I said "Awesome. Congrats & Oh so u consider me a close friend now?" & laughed. She smoothly "didn't hear it". Asked her a few questions about the guy, no not like...

A Postcard from 13 Year Ol' Me.

My sis found this postcard today, which I'd written to my parents & her when I was in the 7th standard at Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, Prashanti Nilayam. Was awesome reading it. The innocence ( ahem ) I sensed in it was funny as the Current me to read, but was a really good trip down memory lane. Oh, Btw, If my dad reads this postcard now, He'll begin his "Oh How Nice (read: Oiled Hair & well combed with side parting, no goatee, no ear rings, no future tattoo, language without bad words) my son was once..." speech. Trying to avoid hearing that. Here goes the postcard with exact spelling mistakes, words & font styles!... (btw do people in India still use these? I think postcards have an awesome quality about 'em. I think its the fact that one conveys so much in so less space. Articulation should be practiced on these) ************ Parthi 11.8.97 Dear Acha, Amma & Chechi, Sai Ram. Hope you are fine by Swa...

The Great Gender Divide.

Got this really funny Image today titled " The Gender Divide ". From experience I can say the message it conveys is definitely true. Women ARE more complex than men because their thought process is so totally run by emotions. Its a bittersweet thing actually depending on the situation. Since men think logically I think we are easy. But yes usually when emotions start playing in a Man (many a times usually when a lady is involved), Oh then he is so totally confused & lost he starts making a fool out of himself. Urs truly learnt it from quite many experiences. These hormones that come into play scare the hell outta me cuz they make a Man look silly. Women can handle it better cuz that's the way they are, tuned to adapt right from when puberty strikes. For us men, when puberty hits all we know is to start checking women out through various mediums. Ahem . No wonder the genders complain that they are so totally flummoxed by each other. We live in a crazy crazy world whi...

Blahed Thoughts, The First

Spoke today to My best buddy of more than 12 years, Ujwal, about a crazy emo crap I was going through. Something that surprises him & me are both our lives run almost on the same fuckin' script! Really really freakin' weird but good for us in a way. Coming to the K-Serial... I was having a problem with a very close friend of mine. I almost wanted to get a ' L ' tattoo on my head for having messaged & called her a million times (Yes. With Male problems its almost always a "her' isn't it? :D). Big mistake that won't see repetition. I mean I didn't have to, u know. I really didn't commit a mistake consciously. I said something that might have sounded crude on the surface but then again the other person was so close to me that she knew how I always talked & she misunderstood my statement as something that was negative & hurtful when I actually meant to uplift her low self-esteem by giving some advice. I really cared for her & wan...

The Second Class Friend

sec∙ond class friend idiom. 1. A friend treated inferior. 2. A friend given secondary status. It's not about an ancient pal from the 2nd grade. It's about the feeling of being treated low by friends you believe are/were close to you. I read a comment on a blog where a person stated that a trivial friendship is much easier handled than a close one. Her stated reason? there are just too many emotions involved with the close pal which causes quite a bit of highs & lows whereas in a fair-weather one you didn't give a damn about the other person's opinion. I agree. I'm beginning to believe that a close friendship with the opposite sex is actually like a relationship without the intimacy & with lesser whining perhaps, but the good times, fights-on-trivial-matters & misunderstandings are indeed there for the 2 of 'em involved, to see. I think, I, as a human do have few issues. Once I consider someone a close friend, I tend to be there ...

Taare Zameen Par

Time: 6:05 AM Watched a boring action movie, Hitman & 1 supposedly "funny" (g awd-knows-how) chinese movie called Shaolin Soccer. And still wasn’t getting any damn sleep. Guess the dinner-dosas were really giving digestion a tough time. So decided to watch another movie, the options being Om Shanti Om, Jodha Akbar & Taare Zameen Par. So I picked the obvious choice trashing out the former 2 as I’d heard so much about this movie from so many people & not a single bad review! So, me being extremely selective of the Hindi movies I watch, had to give this one a look, out of normal human curiosity and Man! was I bowled over or what! Firstly, it hit a point very close to my heart, the fact that creativity of the future generation isn’t nurtured anymore. Parents & teachers are like evil-bosses who churn out engineers, doctors & the lot, totally ignoring the laden talent, through factories called schools & colleges, for their own fucked up status in society ...

Friends, Freedom & Goa

A post after a long time about how life’s been after the last post, I know. Well it’s not like many read it anyway. The days following the post up until October were rather normal & quite mundane. That’s when Priya introduced me to her friend, Sandhya and then came about conversations of a trip to Goa, the ultimate destination defining Freedom from All. I’ve noticed the mere mention of the place brings about this charged up energy and an inherent excitement. Once Goal Goa was decided, the crew talk was next. Who all? A factor equally important. Now that’s when as usual, the twists & turns in the story, begins. People cancelling, joining in, pulling out again & so on & so forth. It almost came to cancelling the whole Trip itself & I wasn’t gonna give in. I told Sandhya & Koshy, if none come we’ll go with whoever comes. Mind you, I had met none of the initially planned crew, before, except Koshy. Then came news, that Sandhya herself might cancel her trip. I was bl...
