We truly are more disconnected from ourselves. Ourself being the state we get to, when calm and, introspective you become, of you and the world, through daily good focussed meditation to be able to disconnect from your existential self. You are not the crazy, antic-driven you, that normally exists. You are the one always drowning in the beauty of the moment and seeing how we all are programmed to be a certain way/act/exist in society. The existential you is the guy sitting by himself in the studio, when being in his boring natural existence. We all put on our own masks, some complex and layered. The closer you are to a person, the lesser the masks+layers. Hence, you know very clearly how close you are to each friend in your life. One never truly knows oneself.
